The Christian Mission to Learners

Soccer Grow soccer charity has been fortunate to link up with The Christian Mission to Learners, or CML, in Nairobi, Kenya in a campaign of direct support to hundreds of youth in the Kenyan capitol.

This mission group is dedicated to the holistic development of Learners at all levels; from Kindergarten, Primary, Secondary, College to University. Here is an excerpt from their mission statement:

To partner with other individuals and organizations in facilitating the spiritual, social, economic, intellectual, financial, physical, educational, vocational and emotional development of learners, thereby addressing the whole aspect of the person’s being….

Mission statements are one thing, but following through on them is another. CML definitely makes an impact on these youth because in the coming months of 2008 and 2009 the Christian Mission to Learners is organizing a soccer tournament for over 300 Kenyan students, from primary school age to high school.

SoccerGrow has already donated over $600 in soccer equipment to the CML tournament!
